Dr. Mark Sachs is A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Sachs enjoyed a wide variety of fellowship appointments and academic positions with prestigious hospitals and research facilities throughout the country before settling into his practice in South Florida in the mid 1980’s.

Dr. Sachs provides a new approach to cosmetic surgery with his 20 years of medical experience behind him in the study of skin immunology. He is established as one of the leading national experts and published medical author on his studies and research involving the Immunology of Skin.

Dr. Sachs founded Downtown Medical, LLC in 2005 and is now affiliated with Cosmetic Surgery Associates. Breakthroughs and advances in laser technologies and their applications became of great interest to Dr Sachs as an alternative to current invasive medical procedures used in cosmetic surgery. In this regard, he has recently pioneered a new and innovative approach to laser scar revision. He now teaches physicians the technique of laser liposuction utilizing Syneron’s new LipoLite fat melting laser and is a noted nation speaker in the field of cosmetic surgery.
