At Cosmetic Surgery Associates we use a unique smart lipo protocol that removes fat and cellulite from such areas as the arms, thighs, abdomen, buttocks, etc. You begin to see results immediately after surgery and in less then 2 weeks you will notice the post-operative area to be sleeker and tighter. This ongoing improvement will continue for 12 weeks at which point the area will be tight and contoured to perfect symmetry.

We use the most advanced Smart Liposuction Laser in the world: the LipoLite Laser built by Syneron. It is the only laser that allows the user to vary the frequency of the laser pulse that is generated at the laser tip; no other laser has this degree of flexibility. This translates clinically into a cleaner and more thorough “fat melt” of an area and at the same time the safe delivery of a large amount of heat. This heat is what induces so much skin tightening; cells in skin make large amounts of collagen when heated: the collagen pulls and tightens the skin.

We avoid the use of the VASER, which produces sound wave induced fat destruction. This procedure is traumatic, with a high incidence of bruising and hematoma formation and also does not deliver any heat. Therefore, there is no collagen production or skin tightening seen after sound waves break up fat.

Finally, our Smart Liposuction protocol calls for the patient post-operatively to receive: 1. Three lymphatic messages from a licensed certified message therapist also schooled in the science of lymphatic message. This helps the patient to mobilize fluid from the operative area. 2. Receive three VelaShape Laser treatments: this skin tightening tool helps the area tighten and significantly reduce any skin laxity. 3.
